About this toy
Components mount on colour-coded snap bases, so a circuit is built by pressing parts onto a grid rather than wrestling with crocodile clips. Sixty projects run from a single lamp to a light-triggered alarm and an FM radio, each with the schematic printed alongside the build so the notation is learned in passing.
Runs on two AA batteries. Nothing in the kit exceeds 3 V — there is no mains adapter and no way to connect one.
